Friday night: Smith Westerns, Plexi 3, Estrogen Highs, Garbo's Daughter. Saturday day: Jacuzzi Boys, Melted Sunglasses, Slippery Slopes, Brian's Dirty Business, Lil Daggers. Saturday night: Hibachi Stranglers, TeePee, Dead Luke, Psychedelic Horseshit. Sunday day: Ghost Hospital, Electric Bunnies, Pink Reason.

The day shows for the World's Gone Wiggly Fest were held at Vinyl Richie's Wiggly World of Records record store (or just Wiggly World for short). They share a big back parking lot with other independent stores like a skate shop and a vintage clothing store.

There was a dunk tank set up and various people would dare climb into it. It was a safe bet, really. I don't think there was a single "jock" sports guy in attendance. No one could hit the target, not even with a football. It was sad. People would get mad and just run up and punch the target.

The first band would be Lil Daggers, from Miami. They have a lot going on with six members. I don't know what to make of them yet. I've liked the recordings I've heard so far more than the live show. Second band to play was something called Brian's Dirty Business, it's more or less a joke band- a pretty funny joke at that. Brian only had one song. They played five or six songs. Yes, the same song that many times, though they would play it just a little faster each time until it was impossible to play. I kept laughing harder and harder with each time. It was ridiculous. Eric Lopez Zareno played guitar in this band. Eric would, more or less, be the shining star of the festival as he played in five of the bands in some capacity.

Then Slippery Slopes played their first show without guitarist Britches, who's in jail. This doesn't appear to slow down the band any. Shawn (Shit Eagle, DLP), who joined the band as organist/second guitar, took over on lead guitar. I hadn't realized what a big part Britches has in their sound. Who would have thought those simple chords and leads would amount more than they do? It just didn't sound like Slippery Slopes without him. I hope all these bands from out of town get to see them proper. It just wasn't awesome. Free Britches!

Miami bands Melted Sunglasses and Jacuzzi Boys closed out the day show. Both were great. Jacuzzi Boys get better and better and have more and more new songs each time. One song Danny and Gabriel even switched bass and guitar.
